Get Your Name Out & Do Some Good

July 21, 2010

Finding creative ways to market one’s company/business is becoming increasingly important in these days of poor economic growth. At Phasient, we are continually coming up with new and creative marketing strategies to advertise our products and services …and help others at the same time!.

Last year, one of our project managers stumbled upon an organization called LINGOs (Learning for International NGOs) and decided their Global Giveback Competition would be a great way to get involved with an interesting project while spreading the word about Phasient.

LINGOs is a consortium of over 45 international humanitarian relief, development, conservation and health organizations. LINGOs provides the latest learning technologies and courses from our partners so these non profits can increase the skill levels of their employees, and therefore increase the impact of their programs.” (www.lingos.org)

The Global Giveback Competition and LINGOs provide those of us in the eLearning world with an opportunity to donate our time for a great cause and aid in the ultimate goal of increasing nonprofit organizations’ skill levels. It just so happens that getting our name out there to the eLearning community is a bonus! Anyone viewing these courses can see what amazing work Phasient does and how much we value the learning aspect of course design.

The competition was such a success last year that LINGOs has put together Global Giveback Competition 2 this year. Phasient enjoyed the experience so much, that we have five members of our company signed up to volunteer. We can’t wait to get started and we look forward to working for such a great cause.
